My name is Maxim Petriaev, I’m 41, healthy and cheerful, living in Barcelona, working in IT, and I’m the author of this blog. This is my new hobby. This blog is about the shit that fascinates me and takes up my time (apart from my fucking awesome job). I realized I’m a curious bastard. I’m a pleasure junkie. And I’m a damn good entrepreneur. That’s what I’ll be writing about here. The format is simple—I post literally whatever want, whenever I want. Ok?

I’m always up for a chat—in the comments, by email, or in messengers.

This is an independent, old-school blog. On social media, I’ll just be reposting stuff from here. But here, you’ll always get the full, original content in English first.

Hey. Here are some facts about me that might come in handy when your relatives or your partner ask you, “Who the fuck is this Maxim Petryaev and why the hell are you even reading his awesome blog?” So, a few facts about me:

I’m 100% Russian. Yeah, I did a DNA test—not just to check for health risks, but they also do an ancestry analysis. So now I’ve got a certificate that says I’m 100% Russian.

I piss sitting down. I think it’s convenient and practical. You can seriously relax and even catch up on new Telegram messages.

I’m fucking awesome. Yep, that’s right. The most fucking awesome guy. That’s what pretty much everyone who knows me says. And I totally agree.

Twenty years after breaking up with my first teenage love, I found her account on social media and sent her a message. A message to my ex :) A few days later, we had a great time on a video call, sharing details about our lives. It was super warm and nice. Can you imagine? Turns out you can actually do that :)

I can’t ride a bike. Seriously. No, for fuck’s sake, I’m not joking.

I’m a professional pleasure junkie.
A “pleasure junkie” is someone who knows how to enjoy life, notice joy in small things, savor the moment, and share this vibe with others (I’m not making this up, seriously). Such a person often inspires others to be positive, helps them relax, open up, and learn to enjoy the simple things. Yep, that’s me.

“Everyone wants a piece of Maksimka.” That’s a well-established saying, describing how people who know me always want to spend more time with me.

This list gets updated and expanded.
